Velvet plaster contains biostatic properties that make it naturally resistant to mold, fungi, and bacteria, meaning it performs beautifully in standard powder rooms. However, it is not designed for wet zones like the inside of a shower or directly behind a bathtub where it will face standing water. For those areas, we recommend our seamless Microcement or traditional Moroccan Tadelakt finishes.
