Q: Does limewash always look very textured?

No. The amount of visible movement can be controlled. Some interiors use very subtle clouding, while others intentionally show more pronounced brushwork.

Q: Is limewash suitable for a full house interior?

Yes. Limewash can be used throughout multiple rooms or an entire level when the substrate and chosen product are suitable. Using one finish throughout can create strong visual continuity.

Q: Can Venetian plaster be used on the inside and outside of a fireplace surround?

Venetian plaster can be used on many areas around a fireplace, but it should only be applied where the specific plaster system is suitable for the temperatures involved. It is generally used on the exterior decorative surfaces of the fireplace rather than inside the firebox itself. The substrate, heat exposure and fireplace manufacturer's requirements should always be reviewed before application.
